Our mission is simple

Kinsted was established through a Joint Venture Partnership between Lovell Partnerships and West Sussex County Council. Together, we bring forward high quality homes across West Sussex – places where people can lay down roots and build a future.

We create homes built to high-quality standards, in attractive developments.

We are a developer with a long-term commitment to West Sussex and we care about our communities, the economy, the environment, and most of all our customers, demonstrated through our exceptional customer service.

We believe in the power of balance for harmonious and sustainable living. We understand that a well-rounded life requires the seamless balance of work, family, leisure and relaxation, all coming together within the comfort of home. The County of West Sussex offers people just that, thanks to its inclusive and vibrant locations.

Our new quality homes provide residents with the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of life, without compromise. Families can enjoy the beautiful coastlines, serene countryside, and vibrant urban centres. With this front of mind, we’re delivering homes and community spaces that embrace the diversity of the county’s landscape.

Kinsted living

We are dedicated to creating balance in communities, by connecting people to their environment and instilling a legacy of pride to all of our residents.

All our homes are built to high-quality standards with sustainability front-of-mind. Energy efficient with low-carbon heating, they are built fit for the future, being easily adaptable to achieve net zero.

All Kinsted homes have generous, flexible living space to meet the wants and needs for every lifestyle, busy families, first-time buyers and downsizers.

A commitment to our communities

We have developed the following key pillars that underpin our commitment to social value.

These closely align to West Sussex’s commitments as a public service authority, to bring long-term benefit to the area, and improve economic, social, and environmental wellbeing across the county.

These social value pillars, provide a strong foundation of measurable activity upon which each joint venture can be evaluated.

1. Best start in life

We provide people with opportunity by creating inspirational, safe and secure places to live.

2. Prosperous places

We are an active partner in making a positive economic impact on local businesses, the livelihoods and wellbeing of local residents.

3. Strong, sustainable communities

Kinsted develops energy-efficient new homes that can evolve with new initiatives; and create well-connected communities which support mental health and wellbeing.

4. Independence for later living

We create well-designed homes, maxmising the opportunity for longevity to independence and reducing social isolation.

5. Supply chains that work for the community

We insist upon locally procured supply chains and materials, encouraging local training and apprenticeship opportunities for local people.

Site-specific social value initiatives will be developed and tailored to the local communities, delivered in collaboration by Lovell construction and Kinsted Developments.

A responsible business

Kinsted measures the environmental impact of everything we do – including how we build homes and the effects of our developments on their surrounding areas. Through Lovell construction, all sustainability reporting and auditing is conducted independently, so our customers and partners can be assured that our methods make a positive difference.

We pride ourselves on exceeding standards and creating homes and communities that are future-ready. The neighbourhoods we create are gas free, and each Kinsted home is energy efficient. Air source heat pumps and underfloor heating ensure comfortable, more affordable ambient heat and a reduced carbon footprint compared to standard new build homes.
